Medical Needs
URGENT: Cory McCool Update – Doctors have determined cancer has spread throughout Cory’s organs and have classified him with Stage 4 Cancer. They have also determined that chemo-therapy will no longer be an option. He is in a hospital in Johnson City, TN. We desperately need God to intervene on his behalf. URGENT:Shannon Spink (Sis. LouAnne Bedford’s 14-year-old daughter) was hit by a car and according to recent reports her skull is severly damaged and there is bleeding on the brain. Please hold this young girl and her family up in prayer the moment you read this! (6/19/09)

Lucy Clayton – This afternoon poor Sis. Lucy who is still recovering from a previous procedure, fell and broke her leg. She is at Beaumont and will be having surgery today. Please pray for her complete healing and for the strength of the entire family as they help her convalesce. (6.4.09)
Bob Jeffers – Sis. Karen Breza’s uncle is facing another bout with cancer and will be undergoing aggressive chemotherapy to combat it. Please keep in in your prayers for strength and full recovery. (5.13.09)

Zach Dowden – Bro. Jessie Dowden’s 12-year-old nephew in Louisianna has multiple tumors at the base of his brain. This condition has persisted to a life-threatening state and has caused his mental capacity to deteriorate to that of a 5-year-old. Please pray for his recovery and for the family as they very devastated. (5.4.09)

- Update:Bill Ryan III is on his way home to the states from his mission in Afghanistan. He is to be married on July 6th.
- Alex Maul – Sis. Gloria Ledbetter’s second grandson, left 6.17.08 for basic training for the Army. He will be there for three months. He needs your prayers that he makes it through this time period.
- Update:Graduated basic training in Fort Leonardwood, MO, and is now going on to AIT training in Gulfport, MS. (9.02.08)
- Brian Dugas – Oldest grandson of Gloria Ledbetter will be leaving on Sept. 9th for training for Iraq duty. From the training, he will then go on to Iraq in January of next year. He recently got married in Aug. 9th. (8.21.08)

Please pray for my friend, Anita, who had cancer on her tongue. She is in the hospital and has a feeding tube, can hardly talk, very very weak, has lost a lot of weight. Brother Wallace and I went over to see her last night. I did not know her when I first walked in. We had prayer with her. Also pray for the family.

Urgent prayer request!!! My great-nephew Tanner Ryan (8weeks old), has severe Aortic Stenosis. He will be going in for a balloon dilation procedure on June 10th, but he could need a new aortic valve. He is only 8 weeks old. Please prayer for his parents (my nephew Bill Ryan and Katie Ryan), also my brother Bill Ryan, and our family! Thank you!!

I sit here reading all of these prayer request and seeing the great needs in so many people’s lives…many of them people I know…and I must question how the Lord would care about mine…and I find it hard to ask him…knowing I have made so many mistakes in my short life. Why in the world would he care about what I need? Especially since I keep asking for the same things seemingly over and over again. On this page are request for those who I’m sure have been far greater people than I…who I’m sure have made far less mistakes than I…and who I’m sure have been more faithful than I…why would God listen to my request when there’s are ever present? I don’t know…I guess if I was him I wouldn’t either…maybe that’s why I find myself going through things again that I just don’t understand. It’s not for a lack of trying…maybe I’m just not the person I thought I was…maybe God is angry with me…I hope not…but I honestly just don’t know anymore…I know I want to do the right things…I know I have tried to do the right things…I know I Love God and the Church and the things of God…maybe something is just wrong with me… maybe he hasn’t answered because I simply don’t deserve it…

BROTHER WALLACE:
Please pray for Brother Wallace, he is in Annapolis Hospital. We went over about 7 a.m. this morning to be with Natasha because she has another kidney stone. When they took her to OR Brother Wallace told me he was hurting in his chest one of the nurses just happened to be by and saw him and asked “sir are you ok” he told her no and she got a wheel chair and took him to immergecy. He did not have a heart attack, thank the Lord, but they did admit him. He is in room 539. He is scheduled for a stress test in the morning. He has been ever so sick at his stomack and throwing up terribly.

We are praying and believing this is the last of the stones. This was a 11 mm one. She is passing small stones this evening. She is in room 321.

Hello everyone:
I found out some further information about my friend Richard. I am really sad because he was one of those people that Karen and I would just reach out to and in his mind he felt he wasn’t good enough. We kept reassuring him that he didn’t need his own place or anything like that. We would just tell him we miss him and the Church is praying for him. He would always tell me; tell everybody that I love them and thank you so much for thinking of me. I wish I could of said something more or done something different you know what I mean. Anyway, the funeral arrangements will be taking place at Pye Funeral Home in Detroit. I called there and they don’t have the date set as yet because they are trying to get in touch with family. I explained to the lady that as far as I know that he had o family to speak of. The way that we will know when the funeral will be can found out by looking at the web site at the funeral home. http://www.pyefuneralhome.com I hope that some of us can attend and remember our friend…. Thanks for the prayers Brother Wallace is home, very weak and really sore from throwing up so much. We hurts in his side when he walks just a little bit. Chest pain is gone. Thank the Lord.

Doctor said he looked all about her left kidney and did not see any more stones. Thank the Lord. She is home and is passing the small stones. She has a stint.

Please pray for a friend of the family, Kelly. She has told Larry Jr that she doesn’t feel that the Lord will forgive her of her sins. Pray that we can witness to her, that she will want to come to church, seek the Lord, repent of her sins, be baptized in Jesus Name and be filled with His Spirit!
