New Year’s 2007 Service at GAC
At GAC we ushered in the New Year with our Communion and Footwashing on Sunday afternoon instead of the customary “Watch Night” service on New Year’s Eve. Pastor Stephen Trachsel, Sr. did a dynamic job of delivering the Word to us. He pointed out our need to be broken like Christ was broken. Much like a loaf of bread is of no value to the hungry until it is broken.
Sis. Sharon Pavola blessed us in song as did the GAC Sanctuary Choir with “Let the Redeemed of the Lord Say So,” which can be seen in the photo show below.
As a special treat, our drama team, under the direction of Melissa Moses, passionately performed the Lifehouse, Everything Skit, that is so popular on our blog with almost 350 views since it was posted. They did a wonderful job ministering to the church.
We enjoyed a powerful move of the Holy Ghost during communion as well as during footwashing. Finally, we concluded the day’s service with food and fellowship at our New Year’s Eve Banquet.
A special thanks goes out to each of you that participated and helped during this celebration! We received some great feedback about the service being on Sunday instead of Monday night and we’re grateful that the Spirit of the Lord moved so sweetly during our service. Enjoy a few photos below.
