Oneness Scripture References 52 and Growing – Pastor RD Mangold
One day I sat down with the task of identifying scriptures that supported the Oneness doctrine, we as Apostolic Pentecostals teach. I soon found that one led to another, then to another, and before I realized it, I had created a chain of Oneness scriptures starting in Deuteronomy all the way through Revelation. Now, bear in mind, I do not claim to have found all of them. In fact, I know I haven’t. Even as I type this, I realize the concept of Oneness did not start in the book of Deuteronomy. Its origin goes back to where all beginnings can be traced; Genesis. In the beginning God…If you go to Genesis 1:21 – And God saw everything that he had made, and, and behold, it was very good. “He” referring to the singular pronoun.
I took each of these scriptures and highlighted them in my Bible, and beneath that scripture or in the margin, I neatly wrote the next scripture in the sequence below. Similar to a Thompson Chain Reference Bible, I linked one scripture to the other for quick reference and study. A good student of God’s Word will take the scriptures below, and read them in their proper context. Understand fully the story in which these words were framed to see how they point to the complete and utter ONENESS of GOD!
An important thing to remember is, that often in discussion with people who are of the “trinitarian” persuasion, you will encounter the fact that they will use some of these same scriptures to support their beliefs. More often than not, the convincing will not come by someone bludgeoning them with the scriptures, it will come as God’s Spirit draws them and opens their understanding to the revelation of His Oneness. These scriptures should help reinforce your belief in the Oneness, and encourage you to dig even deeper.
It’s my hope this blesses and enhances your study of God’s divine Word.

And again, I will be to him a Father, and he shall be to me a Son? 6And again, when he bringeth in the firstbegotten into the world, he saith, And let all the angels of God worship him. 7And of the angels he saith, Who maketh his angels spirits, and his ministers a flame of fire. 8But unto the Son he saith, Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever: a sceptre of righteousness is the sceptre of thy kingdom. 9Thou hast loved righteousness, and hated iniquity; therefore God, even thy God, hath anointed thee with the oil of gladness above thy fellows. 10And, Thou, Lord, in the beginning hast laid the foundation of the earth; and the heavens are the works of thine hands: 11They shall perish; but thou remainest; and they all shall wax old as doth a garment; 12And as a vesture shalt thou fold them up, and they shall be changed: but thou art the same, and thy years shall not fail. 13But to which of the angels said he at any time, Sit on my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool? 14Are they not all ministering spirits, sent forth to minister for them who shall be heirs of salvation?
