Gracenews Update 10-23-07
Greetings GAC Family and Guests!
As always, be sure to stop by the “Prayer Requests Page” Daily. There are regular updates and this will be the prayer list we will use for Monday Night Prayer.

Gracenews Milestone
The Gracenews Blog has reached a milestone; within a little over a week of inception, your Gracenews Blog has accumulated over 1000 hits! That’s outstanding. As of last night, if you “Googled” the term “Gracenews” we were the first (2) in the search results! That’s a major accomplishment for our blog as well. Typically, if someone doesn’t find what they’re looking for on the first couple of pages within Google, they will try a different search criteria or even a different search engine. While our immediate audience is of course Grace Apostolic Church of Clawson, there’s an entire world wide web out there on which you are now getting up-to-date representation. This proactive blog is a key ingredient of a progressive, growing, and active church
Blog Training
Last night I had the opportunity to sit down with several department heads to begin construction of their page on the Gracenews blog. Very soon you will be seeing activity from the GAC Music Department, Sunday School Department, and Outreach Department.
Missionary Sunday
In our zeal and excitement this weekend, we neglected to receive our monthly “Missionary Sunday” offering. Please be mindful, that while it was not announced, this is an ongoing commitment that Grace Apostolic has made to our co-laborers in the foreign fields. Let’s continue our faithfulness in this monthly commitment and please be ready to give this Sunday (10/28/07) as we will be receiving our monthly missionary pledges at that time and of course anytime you are willing to support this great work of the Gospel.
Homecoming This Sunday
Grace has been asked many times, “Why don’t you have anniversary services?” Well, typically our former Bishop, Bro. Victor Trachsel, never really saw the need. In lieu of an anniversary service however, Grace has begun the tradition, starting last year, of having an annual Homecoming Service. There will be a posting coming out very soon detailing the idea behind this event and some of the events scheduled to take place.
So stay tuned and stay encouraged. Pass the information along to your friends that might be wondering what’s going on at your church.
Have a wonderfully blessed and prosperous day, in Jesus Name!
